1 Reactivity: How does the PCR test work?

Real-time detect the variation of amplification product in each cycle during the PCR amplification with the variation of fluorescence signal, quantitatively analyze the initial template through the relationship between Ct value and standard curve.

2 Reactivity: How sensitive is the PCR test?

Our kit could detect as little as 100 copies of gene per μL.

3 Assay: What is the assay set up?

Our kit runs in Polymerase Chain Reaction tube. 

4 Assay: Which instrument is suitable for our PCR kit?

For our kit, a Fluorescence PCR Instrument with FAM, VIC, NED detection function is required.

5 Assay: What software is required to run the PCR assay?

For our kit, the ordinary Fluorescence PCR software with FAM, VIC, NED detection function is required.

6 Assay: How long does it take to finish an assay?

For the multiplex PCR kit, the test could be finished within 2 hours.

7 Interpretation: Does a positive value always mean that the patient has a fungal infection?

No. The entire clinical context must be considered. Exclude the contamination, the positive result indicate a possible infection. 

8 Interpretation: How often should a patient be tested?

Patients should be tested 2-3 times per week.

9 Contamination: Are most disposables can be used in the test?

Yes. The common sterile disposables is OK.

10 Contamination: How can I evaluate the test environment and procedures?
